Most cases settle. The big question is: Did you leave too much money on the table? Mediations are often the best opportunities to communicate the strength and value of your case before trial. So, a compelling presentation can make the difference between meeting your settlement goals and having to try the case in court. This seminar will offer you proven techniques and tools that will not only help you to make your best case, but also project your preparedness and willingness to go to trial. I will discuss the benefits of storytelling, structure, color use, media options, strategy, tactics and more. Using a demo case, participants will develop their own mediation presentation in PowerPoint®. This workshop comes with lesson materials, and an annual subscription that includes Convinse™ Elements, PowerPoint® templates, background images, plus videos of the seminar for future reference.

Have you ever wanted to go back in time just so you could reclaim the opportunity to join your high school AV Club? I didn’t think so. Still, a basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment is so important in today’s digital presentation world. This set of lessons go over the basics, from understanding the main features of a projector to being able to string together several splitters so that you can display your presentation on multiple monitors in the courtroom. I may not make you into a full-fledged pocket protector-wearing warrior; but you will be more comfortable using the hardware necessary to execute your digital presentation strategy before a judge, jury, or mediator.
